About SurfAI
Big questions.
A shared purpose.
Founded at Stuyvesant in January 2023. Open to curious minds, connected by a belief that useful AI education should reach more people.
Our mission
From our community
to communities everywhere.
We make AI education accessible so people can understand, question, and use technology to help others, with a particular focus on healthcare and medicine.
Our goal is to connect students, educators, researchers, and community partners across borders. Through shared learning, research, and publications, we want more people to take part in shaping AI that serves human needs.
We welcome beginners and experienced builders alike. Bring a question, read with us, test an idea, and help explain what you discover.
